MAVE jewelry is carefully made with heavy duty elastic string, and a variety of high quality materials and gemstones including: 14K gold-filled, .925 sterling silver, stainless steel, plated beads and natural gemstones. Avoid exposing to harsh chemicals like perfumes, cosmetics, cleaning products, sanitizers, chlorine, salt water, and hot springs as they can cause the finish to darken quicker than expected.

To clean your 14K gold-filled jewelry: soak them for 1-2 minutes in warm water mixed with a few drops of mild dish soap. Gently use a soft brush to remove dirt, rice thoroughly with warm water, and dry immediately with a soft cloth. Please note that once a piece has darkened due to exposure, we cannot guarantee restoration. 

To clean your sterling silver jewelry: gently wipe with a silver polishing cloth to remove any gold tinted spots on your beads. Please note that this is not a defect-it is a natural reaction when silver is not worn or exposed to harsh chemicals. Wearing your bracelets often and washing them frequently can prevent the silver beads from discoloring.

To clean your stainless steel jewelry: soak them for 5-10 minutes in warm water mixed with a few drops of mild dish soap, follow by gentle scrubbing with a soft brush.

To clean your plated jewelry: soak them for 1-2 minutes in warm water mixed with a few drops of mild dish soap, then lightly scrub with a soft brush. Plated beads will naturally wear over time. To keep them lasting longer, please wear your pieces frequently rather than daily and remove before showering, swimming, working out, and sleeping.

To care for your gemstone jewelry: Gemstones are more delicate than they may appear and can break or crack if not properly cared for, or if dropped, thrown, or stepped on. They also shouldn't be worn in environments that could be harsh or damaging to them.
